Bittersweet!!

Today was the day we had to ship our kids to Canada. Tears were shed, Casey was able to give each one of them a blessing. They were very sweet. Casey's dad took them on the plane to Great Falls. We are hoping they will make it across the border with those three little bandits. We shed tears wishing we were on the same holiday. It will be hard to go home to such a quite place but at least this way our attention can be on Casey. Casey's mom stayed here with me. Bless her heart!!!! I'm so thankful for all the help and encouragement we have received. As we speak a little birdie told me my house was getting cleaned. Thank you! Thank you!

Casey has had a good day! His counts are where the doctors would like them. Tomorrow he will fill you in on this. He has had lots of rest today which is a good thing. Also, Congratulations to Drew Bushman who is the closest to a shiny head. We will send pictures in an upcoming blog! Andrew Dixon has a close second. Aaron and Brian we want to see those ears.!!!!!!

We appreciate those who have joined Casey's chrome dome club. We are daring the Mortensen's (Todd, Brett, and Craig) and also the Martin's (Sterling, Gary and Jeff) to join the club. Your so close:)

Today we are thankful for: The bravest Grandpa in America for taking three young children on an airplane trip home. And also the comfort blessings can bring.

Lots of Love
Lani

Yes, Grandpa Gary is very brave. We love you guys. Hang in there. All the Bunko ladies are putting you in their prayers, just to get some of them to pray is a miracle!!!

We're so happy to hear that his counts are good--how's the blurry vision? I know you'll miss your kids but you can concentrate on Casey and know that your kids are well taken care of. They'll be back before you know it!

I'd love to see Todd, Brett, and Craig bald too. One of them is already half way there, so it shouldn't be too much of a sacrifice! (I can say that because I don't live close by). They will all be together this week, so it would be a good time to put on a little pressure and get a photo. Thanks for keeping us all updated. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I cannot wait for the MRI blog. Leave it to Casey to figure our he's clastrophobic until after he's in the MRI machine. Casey, you are a great sport through all of this!

I wish I could have stayed out West longer to help mom with the kids or something. Sure do miss you guys. Lani..... good thing you don't belong to Nate's parents Stake because last Sunday the Stake President (Nate's dad) had all the Bishops give a lesson and they banned Bunko in the Stake. Okay, they didn't really ban it, but just encouraged it not to be played. Some other very interesting things were mentioned to. Tell ya later. That's all.

You know Charles loves the chrome dome. He's been sporting it for years. There's no better look. :-)
